Origins

Piaroa

“Piaroa” is located in the southern of Venezuela by the Orinoco River banks, and blessed with one of the wildest cacaos found in the country.

Given the intrinsic location these cacaos are likely protected from other Venezuelan origins, which makes its genetics unchanged.

Process

Harvest period is only 6 months due to the rising tides of surrounding rivers, and farmers have to endure challenging roads and multiple modes of transportation to reach our facilities.

Due to adverse conditions and tasks to obtain these beans, we established a weekly contact with native “Chamans” to follow up harvesting activities.
